🎷 What an incredible two weeks!
Our studio was proudly represented at the where several of our students spent two weeks immersed in performances, masterclasses, private lessons, chamber music, and collaborations with talented saxophonists from across the country. The opportunity to work with so many exceptional musicians made for an unforgettable experience and an inspiring milestone in our summer!
We are also proud that Dr. John Sampen and Garrett Evans (DMA ‘25) served on the institute faculty, sharing their expertise and mentoring students throughout the program. Sam Valancy (DMA ‘27) was apart of the faculty, as a summer intern.
The institute featured an outstanding lineup of guest artists, including and . It was especially exciting to welcome New Thread Quartet, whose members include two Bowling Green State University alumni, making their visit even more meaningful for our studio, Erin Rodgers (MM ‘05) and Dr. Noa Even (DMA ‘14).
