GOALS:
1.To network with Harry Potter fans immediately through social media, online websites and clubs, and invite our fellow fans in South Florida to the convention and into our HPA alliance. We will update our social media sites at least twice a week, once we have a consistent following. These social media platforms will be able to keep our members up-to-date with our current projects and keep
them connected. Our social media sites will be created by no later than the end of May 2015 and we will have a consistent following by the end of December 2015.
2. Hold our Harry Potter convention around the second week of March 2016 at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. Creating a Harry Potter convention is one of the main goals of our chapter. We strive to unite individuals, have a fun and exciting time interacting with people in our community, and to share the love we all have for the series. We will be able to measure and attain this goal through ticket sales and the successful completion of the convention.
3. Every month we will meet with fans from South Florida who are interested in our mission to discuss how we can give back to our community. Also, find out how fans in our community think they can better the community in order to organize a new set of goals. Beginning in early August 2015, we will beginning our in person meetings with people in our community. We will discuss the approaching convention and address our community's needs and begin to formulate our next plan of action. Our goal will be continually accomplished if we retain a consistent group of people that continue to come back every time we have a meeting.
