🦐20th Annual Northeastern Junior College Athletics Cajun Boil!
⏰October 17, 2026 | 6:00 PM-10:00 PM
Dear Friends, Supporters, Alumni, and Community Members,
We are excited to invite you to join us for the 20th Annual Northeastern Junior College Athletics Cajun Boil on October 17. We will begin at 6:00 p.m. for an evening filled with great food, great company, and most importantly, a great cause.
For 20 years, the Cajun Boil has been one of the most important fundraising events for Northeastern Junior College Athletics. What began primarily as an event to support athletic scholarships has grown into something much bigger. The NJC Athletic Department has made the decision to use the Cajun Boil to address specific program needs that will directly impact our student-athletes.
This Year’s Goal: To Start A New On-Campus Softball Complex
This year, our fundraising efforts will focus on helping fund the construction of a new softball field and complex on the Northeastern Junior College North Campus. We believe one of the keys to the success of our student athletes is providing them with the opportunity to develop their skills every day in quality facilities. Our student athletes work extremely hard in the classroom and in competition, and they deserve facilities that allow them to train, practice, compete, and continue to grow right here on our campus. A new softball complex will provide our Plainswomen with a home facility that can become a tremendous resource for our softball program, our athletic department, our college, and our entire community. This project is about much more than building a softball field. It is about investing in our student athletes and investing in the future of Northeastern Junior College Athletics. We are asking our alumni, boosters, businesses, friends, families, and supporters of Northeastern Junior College to come together once again and help make this project possible!
