Today was Buenafication Day! The archery team had a great day giving back to our community. In the morning, we made care packages for the children's hospital and after lunch we headed over to The Bridge in storm lake to help with some outside chores and putting together mail to send out to sponsors.

Congratulations to Rosa Perrotti on her new internship with the Walt Disney Company! As part of the Disney College Program, Rosa will work as a Disney Cast Member at Walt Disney World, starting in August.

Rosa partnered with Dr. Samuel Wilson, Assistant Professor of Management & Entrepreneurship at BVU, to secure this great role at “the Most Magical Place on Earth.” Professor Wilson previously worked five years as a Disney Cast Member in Orlando, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

BVU students interested in becoming Disney Cast Members are encouraged to reach out to Rosa and Professor Wilson, to learn more about the great opportunities available delivering the “business behind the magic” at Disney.

Buena Vista University Archery is very fortunate and lucky to be one of only 22 programs in the country to be offered one of the Growing Youth Archery Together Grants from the Lancaster Archery Foundation. To say we are excited and honored is an understatement!

This grant will allow us to purchase more targets that we will use not only to continue to grow our program, but offer camps, trainings, clinics, competitions, and other opportunities for Northwest Iowa Youth. Thank you everyone at the Lancaster Archery Foundation!

The Lancaster Archery Foundation, working with a matching grant from Easton Foundations, has awarded $100,000 to organizations from Barrow, Alaska, to Covington La., under the Growing Youth Archery Together grant program.

In honor of the 100th anniversary of Easton Archery in 2022, Easton Foundations challenged the Lancaster Archery Foundation to raise $100,000 in order to receive a matching grant of $100,000 from Easton.

Nearly 60 grant applications were received and reviewed by the Lancaster Archery Foundation’s directors, who ultimately awarded 22 grants totaling $100,000 to clubs and programs from 14 states.
