The mission of the Sweet Briar College Alumnae Alliance, under the leadership of its Alumnae Board, is to assist the Alumnae Office in effectively serving alumnae by developing, organizing and implementing programs that will encourage alumnae engagement with each other and with the College. The Alumnae Alliance supports Sweet Briar College in realizing its mission and programs and promotes philanthropic support for the College.

And that’s a wrap! Another Sweet Work Weeks is officially done. The campus looks a little brighter and shinier thanks to all the hard work of all volunteers. Doors were scraped and painted, patios were power washed, gardens were refreshed, Grammer got a deep cleaning and a new coat of paint, and so much more! Thank you again to all of those who made it happen 💕

Special shoutout to our SWW chairs Lola Bailey ‘95 and Annamarie Spencer ‘13 (last slide along with Class Leaders co chair LuAnn Hunt ‘90) who organized it all in partnership with the college and put in the work to ensure completion. We could not have done it without you

This summer, Sweet Work Weeks volunteers will be cleaning and painting handrails across campus—just one of the many projects that helps keep Sweet Briar looking its best.
