Nu Rho Poetic Society is a co-ed professional society that is on an invitation only basis.

Nu Rho Poetic Society, a co-ed organization dedicated to serving Syracuse University/SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry poets in their pursuit of excellent craftsmanship in all areas of poetic expression. It was founded in September 2011 by ten individuals on the Syracuse University Campus, in Syracuse, NY.

We will be hosting Informational Meetings on Tuesday, February 14 and 28 in Schine229 @6-7pm!!! Meet and get to know more about our Nu Rho Poetic Society Family!! Followed by writer's workshops at 7pm in Schine in the Intercultural Collective Suite!

Join us tonight!!!
The Spoken Word Poetry Institute brings together leading poets and activists using the medium of spoken word to engage Syracuse University and SUNY ESF students. Campus community members are invited to the Institute’s opening celebration, which will feature poets and .The event will begin with student performances, followed by a panel led by Director of the Disability Cultural Center Carrie Ingersoll-Wood and performances by Hanesworth and Kuusisto. The Poetic Icon Award will also be presented to Kuusisto.

Students interested in participating in the Spoken Word Poetry Institute writing workshop on Saturday, Oct. 29, can email Cedric Bolton ([email protected]) to participate.

Today is National Poetry Day!!!!! Wishing everyone a very blessed writing and expression!!!! ❤️ It is truly amazing to see so many students and student organizations on campus spreading the magic of poetry and performance!
