The College of Fine Arts is hiring a Press Manager for our Small Craft Advisory Press! Search for Job ID 62720 at jobs.fsu.edu for a complete job description.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Small Craft Advisory Press (SCAP). This individual would maintain equipment, supervise students and interns, and oversee and produce SCAP editions, including binding and printing. The ideal candidate should be a skilled letterpress printer and binder with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and have a Bachelor’s degree and two years experience.

Named after the ever changing place where land meets sea, the Swash Zone paper studio explores the thresholds between image and substrate, meaning and material. This is a community of experimentation and discovery, working with an ancient medium in revolutionary and contemporary ways.

The Swash Zone is run through Small Craft Advisory Press, offering workshops for FSU CFA students and the local community.

No previous papermaking experience necessary! The Swash Zone welcomes all who wish to wade.
