Meet Shavoy Alcock — the student director behind TYRONE, the breakout short film from Monroe University’s new Entertainment Media program 🎬 What started as a student production quickly gained international recognition, earning selections and awards from film festivals around the world. From concept to screen, Shavoy and the Entertainment Media students brought a powerful story to life through creativity, passion, and collaboration. This is just the beginning for Monroe’s next generation of filmmakers.
