Meet Kolbi Lucas, one of our 2026 Helen A. Rouce Scholarship Award Recipients! 🎓💚

This fall, Kolbi will begin pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Development with a minor in Business at Jackson State University. Her goal is to partner with organizations across Tulsa to serve vulnerable children and families while creating opportunities and lasting change in the communities that need it most.

Through leadership, community service, and youth mentorship, Kolbi has demonstrated resilience, compassion, and a genuine heart for serving others. She believes education is the key to becoming the woman she is meant to be while inspiring and supporting children who need someone to believe in them.

This fall, Kamora will begin pursuing a degree in Nursing at Prairie View A&M University. Her goal is to become a pediatric oncology nurse, providing compassionate care and advocating for children and families, especially in underserved communities.

Through leadership, academic excellence, and community service, Kamora has demonstrated resilience, determination, and a genuine passion for helping others. As Vice President of HOSA and an active volunteer, she has consistently used her talents to serve her community while preparing for a career dedicated to making a lasting difference.
