Meet London McClure!! Here’s how London spent her summer in France!! 🇫🇷 ✈️ Sending all of our love from back home! 🤍

“I chose to spend my summer with UA Study Abroad with the UA C&IS in France Program! During the program students from the college of communications and information sciences spent a week in Paris and a week in Cannes, France! The program valued culture and industry immersion as I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to attend the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity!! At this festival I was able to hear from seasoned professionals in creative industries like Reese Witherspoon, Jimmy Fallon, and even Alix Earle. This experience has illuminated me to the value in traveling and wide variety of creative professions. I was able to learn, enjoy culture, and meet so many new friends! I am grateful to UA Study Abroad and I hope to bring what I learned from my experience into my leadership role within Sigma Kappa through prioritizing creativity and professionalism.”

“I’m so excited to serve as Director of Continuous Open Bidding (COB) this year because I know how much it means to find a place where you truly belong. Sigma Kappa has become such a big part of my college experience. It’s where I’ve found friendships that are real, people who challenge me to grow, and a community that makes me feel at home. I want other girls to know that it’s never too late to find that. This year, I’m looking forward to meeting new women, sharing what makes Sigma Kappa so meaningful to me, and helping them find the kind of belonging and friendship that has made such a difference in my life.”
