🩷💚 Day 1 of the 93RD SERC was an exhilarating day of sisterhood and fellowship! 🩷💚

Members of the Beta Xi Omega Chapter traveled near and far and were in for a treat from the start! As we arrived, first time attendee badges were given to our newer members, and baby clothing was donated to local charity on behalf of BXO members!

Also, Congratulations are in order for one of our very own members, Theresa P , Vice President, for successfully completing the Dr. Glenda Glover Leadership Institute Cohort II! Job well done!

Our first day was busy, and there are so many more things left in store, so stay tuned!

Happy 117th Founders’ Day, Sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®!

On this day, January 15th, 1908, nine visionary women at Howard University sparked a sisterhood that has grown into a global force for good.

From that first meeting in Miner Hall to today, we proudly stand as a sisterhood of over 360,000 members across 12 nations, including the U.S., Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, UAE, Germany, Japan, Liberia, Nigeria, South Korea, South Africa, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

As we celebrate under the 2022-2026 Administration, and the theme ‘Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood,’ we honor the enduring legacy of our Founders, and continue to impact communities globally.

Here’s to 117 years of service, sisterhood, and soaring higher together!🩷💚

💕🎄 We had a very festive and productive December Chapter Meeting hosted by our very own Social Committee!

We also shared in a Skee-cret Santa gift exchange, made CHIPP preparations, and visited our Local Heroes, the Veterans at the Central Alabama Veterans Hospital for our annual Christmas Gift Shop and Birthday Celebration,

There was a lot of holiday cheer as we gathered together in our “OH SO PRETTY” Christmas sweaters and conducted the business of our sorority!

Check out some of our highlights! 💕💕💕

💕💚November Sorority Meeting 2024: EAF HBCU Homecoming Tailgate!

What a fantastic and productive meeting hosted by the members of our Educational Advancement Foundation, and Connection/ Advocating for Social Justice Committees! We kicked off our time together sporting our HBCU pride as we conducted the business of our beloved sorority!

Around halftime, we enjoyed sister-selfies, and a HBCU Trivia with exciting door prizes hosted by our Sisterly Relations committee!

The final game ended at our Pretty PINK Tailgate Tent with a delicious tailgate lunch provided by our hosting committees! Thank you for your excellent hospitality. What a time! 🩷💚
