Baylee Burson, a recent music graduate from Arkadelphia, Arkansas, had an original music composition, “Scarlet,” selected for performance at the College Music Society’s 68th National Conference in Spokane, Washington, on October 30.

💜✨The School of Performing Arts welcome guitarist, Matthew Stone, as he joins the Division of Music faculty✨💜

"Matthew Stone is a multi-instrumentalist who can be seen and heard performing frequently throughout Central Arkansas with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, River City Men's Chorus and for musical theatre productions at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre as well as with numerous bands and as a solo guitarist. He has been teaching students privately and through programs such as the Little Rock School of the Arts for the past 20 years and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Music Business from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. He currently resides in Little Rock with his wife, son and rat terrier"
