Hello Students,

I just wanted to take a moment to encourage you all to exercise your right to vote!

In Ohio you can vote three ways:

1.) Early and in Person

-Voting early typically has shorter lines than election day and you can go at your leisure!

-To vote early in person find your local board of election address and hours here: https://www.ohiosos.gov/elections/voters/toolkit/early-voting/

-When you vote early you do not need a photo ID, all you need is your social security number. You can find other acceptable forms of ID here: https://www.ohiosos.gov/elections/voters/id-requirements/

2.) Vote by mail

-Vote by mail allows you to take your time and vote from your coach!

-To vote by mail you need to request an absentee ballot ASAP. If you do not request it by October 26th it is very likely that you will not receive your ballot before the election.

3.) On election day

-Polls are open on NOVEMBER 3rd from: 6:30 am – 7:30 pm. If you are in line to vote by 7:30 pm they must let you cast your vote!

-If you have any problems on election day, ask to cast a PROVISONAL BALLOT and call 1-866-OUR-VOTE for help!

Agape for Youth, Inc. is in need of a full time Family Support Specialist to provide services to families and children referred to the program.

Qualifications include:

Current licensure as an LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC is required

Ability to teach and model parenting skills

Crisis intervention skills.

Knowledge of community resources

Effective verbal and written skills

Computer proficiency in Office 360 Microsoft Office programs

Drivers licensed required

Duties:

Provide supportive services and crisis intervention to families.

Visit with the family 3 to 5 hours face-to-face per week for approximately 12 weeks.

Increase parenting skills through hands-on work with the family.

Link families with resources as identified in the initial assessment.

Increase the conflict resolution and problem solving skills of the family.

Provide instruction for basic living services, including housecleaning, shopping, or other home management skills.

Complete an initial assessment and service plan, monthly report and closing summary within the time frames of the contract along with accurate billing logs.

Attend all staff, Semi-Annual Reviews (SAR), family team meetings and court hearings to provide information regarding the progress of the family.

Pearson VUE added ASWB candidates to the list of essential workers who are allowed to test in a subset of test centers that have been opened on a limited schedule for testing essential service providers. Availability is first come, first served. ASWB candidates must schedule their appointments online as explained in the FAQs about testing for essential services on ASWB’s exam program homepage on the Pearson VUE website. WSU has an ongoing initiative for our Raider Food Pantry to raise funds for this endeavor by partnering with Kroger's community rewards program. As you may be aware, this program is absolutely free, helps out students and Fairborn residents who need access to our Food Pantry and only takes a few minutes to sign up. The way the program works is that every time you shop at Kroger and use your Kroger card, Kroger will donate one to four percent of your shopping bill to the Food Pantry Foundation fund.

Please consider supporting our efforts by signing up for our WSU Food Pantry fund with your Kroger card today. Please follow the steps below if you’re interested in helping our WSU students:

1. Obtain a Kroger card from your local Kroger if you already don’t have a Kroger card.
2. Register your Kroger card at www.KrogerCommunityRewards.com by creating an account.
3. After your account is set up, please go to your “Account Summary” and search for “Community Rewards.”
