PVAMU NAA - Dallas Chapter The mission of the chapter is to “Promote, Support and Provide Service to Prairie View A&M University“. The Dallas Chapter sponsors 2 major events annually.

The Dallas Prairie View Alumni Chapter was formed in 1970’s. The Annual Scholarship Gala which in its 25th year history has raised more than $1,000,000 in scholarship funds which benefits the Clever Dean Lewis Scholarship Fund , named for a past president. More than $200,000 in scholarships have been awarded to Dallas area graduating seniors accepted to Prairie View for their freshman year of college.

As Juneteenth Houston celebrates historic African American culture around Houston, Prairie View A&M University senior Amaya Moss has a special connection.

Moss, who graduates next May with a double major in architecture and construction science, has designed the logo for Juneteenth Houston in honor of the holiday's 160th anniversary.

This year, Prairie View A&M University proudly produced its first two Barry Goldwater Scholars: juniors Anisa Cole and Keeland Harville.

It marks a major milestone for the University, just in its second year of submitting nominations for the prestigious scholarship, both by Dr. Quincy C. Moore, director of the PVAMU Honors Program.
