Hey Blazers!

Join us for coffee & group coaching from the Success Coaching Team. Discuss academic challenges you may be facing this week and receive guidance from the team as well as and peer support. Whether you have questions about classes, getting involved on campus, staying on track with time management, or simply want to meet someone who is here to support you, we’d love to connect with you!
Come for the coffee, stay for the conversation!
These events will be held in Odum Library room 1470 on the following dates:

As we get ready for the upcoming semester, we’re excited to invite you to a Blazer Mindset Workshops! These sessions are designed to help you start strong, stay motivated, and navigate challenges with confidence.
These interactive sessions will focus on building a growth mindset for academic success, managing stress and setbacks, and setting meaningful goals to stay motivated throughout the semester. Participants will also explore habits that support focus, resilience, and well-being, learn tips for connecting with faculty and staff when support is needed, and become familiar with key platforms every Blazer should know.
Whether you’re feeling excited, nervous, or somewhere in between, this workshop will give you practical tools you can use both in and out of the classroom.
Workshop Dates :

Wednesday, August 26th, from 12pm-1pm in Odum Library room 2633

Thursday, August 27th, from 6pm-7pm in Odum Library room 2633

We strongly encourage you to attend and invest this time in yourself at the start of the semester. Come ready to reflect, participate, and set yourself up for success.

Study Skills for Stronger Scrubs is for juniors & seniors! Join us Monday, August 24th at 1pm in HSBA 4019.

Nurse-to-Be Navigator is for freshmen & sophomores! Join us Thursday, August 27th at 11am in BSC 1025.

During these workshops, you will:

meet faculty from the Nursing Department
Get tips on passing nursing courses and getting into the nursing program
Learn about upcoming opportunities to engage with professionals in that major

Congratulations to our office GA, Kristina! We wish you the very best!

🎉 Join us in congratulating Kristina Davis on accepting a therapist position at LightHeart Mental Health in Washington State!

Kristina will provide outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. She will offer both in-person and telehealth therapy, helping clients access compassionate, high-quality care in the setting that best meets their needs.

We are excited to see all that she accomplishes in this next chapter!
