Sharing this article about my father, Alvin Moore, Sr., and his selection for the SWAC Legends Hall of Fame fills my heart with pride. I wish he were here to experience this honor, but I am grateful to see his legacy celebrated.

To the Alcorn State University A-Club family, thank you for entrusting my dad with the opportunity to serve as your president. Your trust, friendship, and support meant so much to him. It was his honor to serve, and he took pride in supporting Alcorn and celebrating the accomplishments of fellow Alcornites.

Thank you for being part of his journey and for helping us celebrate this special recognition. To me, he will always be more than a Hall of Famer—he is my dad and my hero. 💜💛

Jaylon is now the Division I passing yards leader through Week 5 with 1,882 yards. In Alcorn State’s most recent game against Grambling, Tolbert threw for 411 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Former Alcorn State Basketball Player Iris Floyd Kyle is a Legend!! 💜💛🏀💪🏽

Arnold or Ronnie? It is the argument that never ends. Neither of them holds the record for the most Olympia titles in bodybuilding.

Iris Kyle does. Ten Ms. Olympia wins, more than any bodybuilder in history, man or woman. She earned them while the sport spent much of her career arguing about whether women built like her should be on stage at all.

Her starting point is the part few people know. It was not a gym. It was a college basketball court in Mississippi, where she played point guard on a scholarship.

Getting from there to the most decorated career the sport has ever seen involved a magazine photo, a refrigerator door, and years of chasing down the one woman who had already beaten her twice.

If all you know are the titles, you only know the ending.
