Congratulations to Hermano Rudy (2.0) Rodas ace of Spring 2006's Theta Line for being recently featured on New Jersey's Leaders Council 2017 Fellows.

Rudy Rodas, Attorney Advisor, US Social Security Administration

"Rudy currently serves as an Attorney-Advisor for the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review under the US Social Security Administration. In this role, he writes legal decisions regarding disability determination appeals. He also advises administrative law judges in Jersey City, NJ and Puerto Rico on how to strengthen the basis of their decisions in order to avoid Appeal Council and Federal District Court remands. Prior to working for the federal government, Rudy worked as Of Counsel to the Consulates of Colombia in Newark, NJ and New York City. He provided legal research in response to requests from the Consul Generals and the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding questions of US immigration, criminal, and business law. Along with his experience working for a foreign government, Rudy also created a start-up law practice that primarily assisted undocumented immigrants in obtaining legal status in the US. Rudy is a first generation Guatemalan-American who was raised in Trenton, NJ. After graduating from Trenton Central High School, he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from The George Washington University. He also obtained his Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law-Newark.† Rudy volunteers in various organizations that support urban communities and promote social and economic justice.† He is the board chair of NJ Urban Communities for Growth, chair of the immigration committee of the Latino Action Network, and Alumni Council Member of the Princeton University Preparatory Program.† Rudy is also a former chapter president of La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity, Inc. and a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of NJ."

Hermano Eric Federico Gutiérrez Nuñez

Hermano Eric is a SOLO from Spring 2004. He graduated from The George Washington University School of Business in 2006 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration concentrating in Tourism and Hospitality Management. Eric went on to obtain his Master's in Tourism Administration in 2011. In addition to being Dean for Spring 2006 and 2007 and Associate-Regional Director of the Mid-Atlantic from 2008-2010, during this time he held multiple positions within the university from being a Counselor for the Multicultural Student Service Center (MSSC), to Assistant Director for Affinity Outreach and Alumni Relations at the School of Business. Eric now lives in New Jersey with his wife Karol and beautiful daughter Ariana, and serves as the Director of Alumni Relations at Montclair Kimberly Academy.

Hermano Spotlight #2: Hermano Noel Mendoza

Hermano Noel is the ace of four from the Lambda Line of Spring 2010. Upon graduating from Edmund A. School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in Culture & Politics, Noel taught at Animo Watts College Prep Academy through Teach for America. He went on to obtain his Master's degree in Urban Education: Policy and Administration from Loyola Marymount University in 2014. Noel currently resides in Los Angeles, California where he is an Account Manager at a startup in Education and plans to apply to business schools in the Fall. In addition to being a diehard Lakers Fan, during his free time he enjoys training and participating in Tough Mudders.

Solo Spring '14 Hermano Isaac Franco

Graduated from Georgetown University in 2016 with a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Economy and a minor in Justice and Peace Studies. Isaac currently resides in Washington DC, working at Accenture as a Management Consulting Analyst. Additionally, he serves on Accenture's Recruiting Team for Georgetown where he works closely with the University in recruiting top talent and cultivating relationships. In his free time he likes to fine dine and train for races with his pet boxer mix.

Congratulations to Hermano Isaac Franco SP'14 for graduating from Georgetown University this past week, with a Bachelor's of Arts in Political Economy and a minor in Justice & Peace studies.
