Delta Sigma Theta is continually anchored in the legacy of our sisterhood. We derive our collective strength from the sorors who have come before us and laid the groundwork for the organization we know today. We invite you to join us in uplifting and celebrating our centennial sorors who have reached the beautiful age of 100 years and beyond! We value their stories, wisdom, experiences, and sustained dedication to our Sorority.

🔺This week, we are recognizing Soror Grace Toler.

Soror Grace Toler was initiated in 1945. She is currently a member of the Washington DC Alumnae Chapter. Her favorite Delta memory is attending the Centennial celebration of Delta Sigma Theta and visiting Howard University’s campus. “The large crowds and seeing red everywhere were one of my most memorable memories being a Delta. It’s the sisterhood.”

As we spotlight them, comment a few words of sisterhood, love, and appreciation. It is imperative that we pay homage and illuminate the legacies they continue to create!

Her classroom. Her choices. Her future.

Girls who marry before age 18 are less likely to remain in school. Protecting girls’ education helps them build skills, pursue their goals, and shape their futures.

Invest in girls’ right to learn. Share this message and keep girls’ education in the conversation.

Childhood should be a time to learn, grow, and dream.

More than 12 million girls worldwide are married before age 18 each year. That is roughly one girl every three seconds. Every girl deserves the freedom to choose her future

International Day of the Girl Child helps raise awareness to end child marriage and invest in girls’ rights.

Money stress doesn’t just live in your bank account. It can show up in your sleep, your body, your relationships and even the financial decisions you make.

Join WDCAC for Money, Mind & Balance: A Financial Stress & Wellness Workshop, a virtual conversation about what happens when money and mental wellness collide.

With insight from a licensed psychologist, we’ll unpack the emotional side of money, explore how stress impacts financial behavior, and give you practical tools to move from overwhelm to action.

Because financial wellness is self-care, too. ❤️
