Chancellor Kent Syverud shared a message today with the community after announcing he has been diagnosed with a form of brain cancer and is receiving treatment at the University of Michigan.

In his message, Chancellor Syverud has also extended his thanks to acting Chancellor J. Michael Haynie, who has assumed all university leadership responsibilities effective immediately.
