Today we had a wonderful event co-sponsored by Adolescent Medicine Interest Group! So many powerful stories about barriers to not only healthcare but opportunities in general due to being an immigrant or minority in this country. Grateful to have a community at GWU SMHS and build a supportive environment where we can help each other navigate through different aspects and challenges that life throws in our path! Thank you to all who attended and contributed to our discussion! Many more events to come!
