We’re honored to welcome Dr. Patrick DeHeer, DPM, FACFAS, FFPM RCPS (Glasg) as tonight’s speaker for our International Medicine event. Dr. DeHeer is a board-certified podiatric surgeon, educator, humanitarian, international lecturer, and the current President of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
His work spans reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, pediatric podiatry, global outreach, and residency education. We’re excited to learn from his experience and perspective in podiatric medicine on a global scale.

On , we are reminded that health is more than healthcare- it is shaped by prevention, access, education, and equity.

Today, we join the global public health community in recognizing the importance of advancing healthier futures for all. From mobility to limb preservation, foot and ankle health plays an important role in overall well-being and quality of life. Because when we protect movement, we protect independence, dignity, and health.

We also recognize and thank the healthcare professionals, public health leaders, and organizations working every day to care for, advocate for, and uplift communities around the world.
