AU Japanese Conversation Club The Japanese Conversation Club is a community of American University students with an interest in learning or sharing Japanese language.

The Japanese Conversation Club is a community of American University students with an interest in learning or sharing Japanese language. The Japanese Conversation Club works to build the fluency and understanding of the Japanese language for students with either an academic or personal interest in the Japanese language. This club aims to give students a fun, educational environment to improve their speaking skills outside of the traditional classroom setting. This club also provides a setting for Japanese language students to meet native Japanese speakers with the aim of providing real-life dialogue practice for students that they cannot receive in the classroom. While the Japanese Conversation Club is primarily American University students, this club aims to connect AU students to other Japanese and Japanese-language students abroad to assist those students that plan to study abroad in Japan. This club will work with Japanese organizations throughout the District of Columbia to provide a rich linguistic and cultural experience for members.
