Applications are open for the 2020 Schlegel student travel grant to Creating Change Conference in Dallas, Texas! Creating Change is a yearly conference by the National LGBTQ Task Force that attracts thousands of attendees each year. Applications are open until Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 5:00 PM. CDI will provide travel grants to a limited number of AU students to attend the conference. Reel Injun (2010) is an eye-opening documentary on Indigenous portrayal in film. From the conception of film to contemporary roles, the documentary is a good pick for students to learn about the history and impact behind Native image for the 20th century to modern times.
