National Prescription Take Back Day on Saturday October 26th was a success! Thank you for dropping off your old and unused prescription. Perfect way to get rid of it with no questions asked and no identification required. Next event will be on a Wednesday April 2020 and also accepting vaping devices/cartridges.
Want to know what the nutritional content is in the food from the cafeteria? Here are the steps for getting this information:
1.) https://gallaudet.cafebonappetit.com/
2.) select your dining location from the cafƩ drop down window
3.) select plaza dining hall ( I used plaza dining hall in this example)
4.) select meal period ( for this example I picked lunch) and click on the small white circle with a plus sign in it next to the "lunch" heading
5.) click on "additional lunch favorites" and scroll to view the proper portion size and the corresponding caloric counts
6.) click on "lunch condiments and extras" for more of the nutritional guidelines and corresponding caloric counts
7.) for more in depth details in each of these subheadings, click on the actual food item for more details. I have the pop up list for deli ham as an example, in the plaza dining hall copied and listed below
Gallaudet now has a food pantry available for students who are struggling to get sufficient food. We provide basic food, some winter clothing, toiletries, school supplies and linens. If you have need or know a Gallaudet student who does, please come to Ely 103 or contact [email protected] for assistance. We also take donations of food, new toiletries and gently used winter coats.
