Domestic Violence Awareness Month reminds us to pause, reflect, and take action, but creating safe, healthy relationships is a commitment we make every day.

Nearly 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men in the United States have experienced physical violence, sexual violence, or stalking by an intimate partner during their lifetime. Behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a story deserving of compassion, dignity, and support.

As Champions, we INSPIRE hope through education, grace, and action. Whether it’s believing a survivor, offering encouragement, or helping connect someone with resources, every act of kindness has the power to change a life.

💗💚 Waycross and Douglas, can we fill the room with duffle bags?

We are getting closer to our final collection date, and Chi Gamma Omega Chapter is asking our community to help us make a strong final push for children and teens in foster care.

Here’s the challenge:

Buy one new duffle bag.
Drop it off.
Tag a friend, church, business, organization, or family member to do the same.

Every donation helps us place a useful, personal item into the hands of a young person who deserves dignity, care, and support.

“Can I sit with you during your appointment?”

“Can I handle school pickup?”

“Do you want me to listen, or do you want help finding answers?”

Sometimes courage looks like fighting.

Sometimes courage looks like allowing someone else to help.

Chi Gamma Omega Chapter is continuing our AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope Duffle Bag Drive, and we need our community’s help.

A new duffle bag may seem simple, but for a child or teen in foster care, it can mean having something of their own to carry clothing, personal items, and a little bit of comfort from one place to the next.
