Michael Purnell - Page for Public Policy Advocacy Communicate with me about my candidacy here. Michael has served 15 years as a Local Pastor in the United Methodist Church.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Michael Purnell, local businessman and part time Methodist pastor, announces his candidacy for Fulton County Commissioner. He has served as president of the Wells Tannery Community Park, and still serves as the association's treasurer. He was a general partner at Purndale Farms Dairy, provides computer support and web development through his business, Greenfield Technologies

LLC, and is employed as CIO at Alternate Heating Systems. Michael's campaign will emphasize fiscal responsibility, serving the needs of county residents and preparing for the future. "I believe that technology used wisely makes people's lives better, and I have worked to bring about that result in service to agriculture, in my years of public service and in modern communications. Technology can lower costs of delivering services, but that is only one side of the formula. Being better (more effective) is the second part, and the better part, of being cost effective." Michael is married to Drema Purnell, and the father of two. He has an AS in Agricultural Business from Pennsylvania State University and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Philosophy and Religion from Juniata College. Michael's campaign will demonstrate desire to serve all the people's interests. He will run as a candidate in the Republican Party. You are welcome to send him a note at [email protected] or to leave a message for him on his Google voice number at (814) 634-4230.
