Scouting Purdue wishes Purdue Pete a very Happy 70th Birthday as a mascot!

Pete as a logo is actually 86 years old, first created for the Purdue Bookstore. But, he didn't become a costumed mascot until a pep rally in 1956.

Purdue Pete visits us at the University of Scouting every year with his custom merit badge sash! We'll see him again at the next one - December 4-6th.

The 2026 National Jamboree is finished!

Scouting Purdue had the opportunity to give two presentations and speak with countless interested parties about our club and college scouting. Thank you to Leadership Heights and National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) for hosting our sessions. We were able to spread the college scouting model and get scouts from all over the nation excited about continuing their scouting journey!

Scouting Purdue is at the 2026 National Jamboree!

We will be hosting a few sessions to talk about the Untapped Impact of College Scouting, discussing how to engage college students and start a Scouting America Alumni student group at the university level. Please join us to learn more and ask questions!

Stop by the National Eagle Scouts Association tent with Scouting Alumni on Wednesday, the 29th, from 1-2pm.

Scout Chat
Join us for our Scout Chat in the Tillerson Leadership Center on Saturday, the 25th, from 11:30am-12:30.

Sadly, Scouting Purdue has to say goodbye to Audrey Brinser, who graduated from Purdue this spring with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.

Audrey has been an integral part of this club, especially through her role as Vice President of Program during this past year. She held up Scouting Purdue behind the scenes and we would not be the organization we are without her. We are not sure what we will do without our resident Scoutmaster to keep us in check!

Thank you Audrey for all of the work you have put in to Scouting Purdue and we are excited to see your success post-graduation! We will miss you!
