Beyond her professional endeavors, Wendy is devoted to her family—her husband, a high school sweetheart and member of the Wichita and Kansas City construction communities, and her two sons, both of whom attended Maize High School. Wendy maintains an active lifestyle, engaging in weekly tennis sessions, regular workouts, and yearly hiking excursions throughout National Parks. An avid reader, she actively participates in a monthly book club and also delves into professional development books. As a graduate of Kansas State University, Wendy loves to support KSU sports (Go Cats!) and is a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Leveraging her diverse moving experiences and highly adaptive nature, Wendy assists clients in navigating the intricacies of the buying and selling process. Her unique ability to connect with clients on a personal level has not only led to successful transactions but has also cultivated lifelong friendships based on mutual admiration for her drive and work ethic. Exciting News About My Next Chapter in Real Estate!

A couple of weeks ago, a big change came about—one I hadn’t anticipated, but one I’ve fully embraced. JP Weigand & Sons, where I’ve proudly worked for over 9 years, has merged its residential division with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty. Weigand Residential will now be part of Wichita’s real estate history.

With this transition, I’ve taken time to reflect on what’s best for my clients, my business, and my passion for serving others. I’m excited to share that I’ll be continuing my career with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty!

Who is Wendy Carter?

Wendy represents loyalty, adaptability, energy and hard work in every aspect of your real estate transaction. She has lived most of her life in the Midwest and embraces the ideals and characteristics that are highly valued in the native state of Kansas. She started her love for sales early in life, persuading her family to buy her rocks! Wendy has since built a successful career in relationship selling over the past 28 years. She has worked in every aspect of sales, including retail, fundraising, entrepreneurial sales and real estate.

Wendy is dedicated to her family, including her husband and high school sweetheart, who is a member of our aviation community in Wichita, and her two sons whom have attended and attend Maize High School. Wendy enjoys everything from tennis, weight lifting, running, cycling and hiking. Wendy loves to read and participates in a monthly bookclub and enjoys reading professional development books too. Wendy is an alumnus of Kansas State University and loves watching KSU sports (Go Cats!) and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
