My art is inspired by many black artists worldwide, and I do not have any favorites; however, there are a lot of critical details from each of these black artists.
   I like the beauty in simplicity, and being able to express myself through my work In the simplest form means a lot to me. Because it’s just like a picture, it’s worth a thousand words. I focus my work on the original concept to finish production, but I also have a streetwear line based on social anxiety that will be released soon.

One of them is creating beautiful clothing pieces and Let’s not talk about her delicious cupcakes(well, that’s for another story). Hi! I’m Catherine Davila and I’m a graduating senior at Salem College. I major in Studio Art with a concentration of painting with a minor in graphic design. I use various mediums in art, primarily painting as my focus. Most of my works consist of abstract art, as well as occasional landscapes and portraits. My motif in my abstract pieces is how my paint flows freely and dries naturally; letting my materials having the freedom to form themselves into the end result.

This is Samuel Poole from Savannah, GA. He has been a poet since the age of 14. He has founded the poetry club on his campus at Winston Salem State University. He continues to teach children poetry and helps community rec centers with the arts!! Not only do we have visual art, but we also have art to stimulate all of your senses!
