The purpose of the GSA is to:
Provide a safe, inclusive space for all within and support the LGBTQ+ community. To inform the PCC community (students, administration, parents, faculty, etc.) about matters important to the LGBTQ+ community by hosting events and activities. Work towards creating an environment where all are accepted, regardless of gender or sexual orientation. For more information, please contact Ashleigh Howard, faculty advisor.

Pride is a celebration of courage, community, and the right of every person to be seen, respected, and valued for who they are.

Research consistently shows that supportive adults make a profound difference in young people's lives, reducing su***de by 40%.

Schools can also play a powerful role. Gender-Sexuality Alliances (GSAs) and similar student organizations are linked to greater school belonging, stronger social support from peers and teachers, lower rates of bullying and absenteeism, improved academic engagement, and better overall mental health.

ALL BULLDOGS BELONG! HAPPY PRIDE!🎉🎉🎉

The GSA is currently looking for new members for our student leadership team for the 2026-2027 academic year. We run a shared leadership team that focuses on collaboration. Faculty advisors Ashleigh Howard and Jean Cahoon will support you every step of the way. Ultimately, the student leaders plan and coordinate all activities.

If you are interested in a leadership position and can commit around 2-3 hours each week to GSA work/activities, please consider completing the following survey. This is not a strict application process; we are looking to gauge who might be interested in taking part in leadership next year.
