Thanks to Robert Creighton for organizing last year's USC Day of SCervice with Laws For Paws. The club even got a callout in the article as the organization was recently recognized in the leading local press. There must be something about that striking Cardinal & Gold! ✌️🇻🇳

At noon one day in late November, Elizabeth Homfray rushed to Tan Thuan Bridge in HCMC after receiving a call from someone about four abandoned puppies.

Michael has embarked on an incredible journey, moving from the heart of tech innovation to being an investor in Vietnam and then finally to the rapidly growing fintech landscape in Vietnam as a startup founder. His latest venture, 1LONG aims to revolutionize the savings market by offering flexible and high-interest saving options to Vietnamese consumers. He specifically cites USC in his entrepreneurial journey and we couldn’t be more proud of what he’s doing to provide solutions for financial pain points for local Vietnamese.

The USC Alumni Club of Vietnam this week welcomed a group of visiting MBA group from USC Marshall School of Business. This keystone immersion trip as part of the MBA program was jam-packed with company visits, presentations, and tours. Time was well spent seeing first-hand who are the players in this rapidly developing Vietnamese market.

The schedule was kicked off with fantastic speakers including a talk by one of our very own Trojans, Esther Nguyen (BS ’98), Founder of POPS Worldwide.

One of the highlights for our club was the USC Alumni Club of Vietnam | USC Marshall MBA PRIME HCMC Mixer - May 2024 where local alumni were able to mingle and share both their USC and Vietnam market experiences with the group.

Thank you all for the numerous alumni who lent their support, relationships, and time to make this a very memorable trip. Fight On! ✌️🇻🇳

Former and future Trojans coming together to make a difference during the annual USC Alumni Day of SCervice! The USC Alumni Day of SCervice is an annual event organized by the USC Alumni Association that brings together alumni, students and friends of the university to engage in meaningful community service activities.

This year, USC Alumni Club of Vietnam teamed up with Laws for Paws Vietnam to help local rescue dogs. It was an incredible morning making a "pawsitive" impact spreading love and care to our furry friends. A huge thanks to our partner Laws for Paws Vietnam for hosting such an informative and meaningful volunteer experience and kudos for all the amazing work they do in the local community.

True Trojan Spirit!

Various members of the USC Vietnam alumni club were able to meet the group and this led to a mutual exchange of ideas about their work in Quảng Trị province and our experiences in Vietnam! Congratulations on the amazing new kindergarten in Đakrông district in Quảng Trị province!
