Camp OutReach (COR) is an annual project organized by the Welfare Services Club (WSC) of Nanyang Technological University (NTU). We aim to provide a platform which encourages our local Deaf community to interact with volunteers who are interested to understand the Deaf culture and make new friends along the way! Challenges and difficulties will be encountered during ou

r overseas adventures however the experiences gained will be priceless! Volunteer work will be focused upon during our overseas adventure as we provide the opportunity to assist the poorer communities within our neighboring countries. Imagine the significance and benefits your contribution can bring as we place a smile across the faces of the people we help! :)

Deaf Camp 2026: Camp ExCORde 🧡

On 20 June 2026, we kicked off Day 1 of Camp ExCORde with an exciting visit to Hay Dairies, Singapore’s only goat farm! 🐐

We learned how fresh goat milk is produced right here in Singapore, watched the milking process, fed the adorable goats, and even got to enjoy a refreshing bottle of chocolate goat milk!

After lunch, we headed to Starbowl at HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok, where we put our bowling skills to the test 🎳✨. From strikes to gutter balls, everyone had a great time cheering one another on!

What a memorable way to begin this year’s Camp ExCORde. Here’s to all the wonderful memories we created together! 🧡

Deaf Camp 2026: Camp ExCORde 🧡

On 21 June 2026, Day 2 of Camp ExCORde was packed with excitement, teamwork and endless laughter! 🎉✨

From energetic relay races and memory matching challenges to station games such as bottle flipping, bead picking, and fish catching, everyone gave it their all while cheering one another on every step of the way! 🥳🎰

A huge shoutout to our COR members and Deaf programmers for planning and facilitating such a fun-filled day. Thank you for bringing so much energy and making every moment so memorable! 🏆

🤟📚 We completed SgSL Level 2!! ✅🎉

After completing Level 1 of Singapore Sign Language (SgSL), our COR members continued with Level 2 over another 8 weeks 🤍

We built on what we learned previously and picked up more signs and expressions. Each session helped us improve bit by bit and get more comfortable using SgSL ✨

A big thank you to our instructors, Freddie and Shirley, for their guidance and patience throughout the course 🤟

Also, a big shoutout to our members who showed up consistently throughout! It’s been a meaningful continuation of the learning journey, and we’re glad to have gone through it together 🤍

🧧❤️ LCIP II: COR x JSYN

On 14 February, COR partnered with Jurong Spring Youth Network (JSYN) for our second LCIP of AY25/26, where our volunteers spent the morning visiting households and engaging beneficiaries through a series of fun, festive activities in celebration of the Lunar New Year 🏠🤍

Through inclusive activities like sign language games, hands-on keychain-making, and lively rounds of bingo, volunteers and residents shared moments of joy, laughter, and creativity. These simple interactions created space for genuine connection across generations. The session ended with a CNY Get-Together, where everyone gathered to celebrate the season over food, games and good company 🧧✨

We are grateful to our partners at JSYN and to every volunteer who made this session possible. Moments like these remind us of the beauty in showing up for one another and the connections that grow when we celebrate together 🤍
