Nukta Studios is a planned effort to achieve the objective of continuous art practice.Nukta studio is offering art residencies & exhibitions for artists. ii. v.

“Nukta” is an Urdu word which means “a dot”, sounds a small word but encompasses a whole world in it, only if we explore it through art. Nukta studio is an effort of my dedication towards art and craft. Nukta studio is offering art residencies and art exhibitions for upcoming talented people of Pakistan. Nukta studio is also providing fully equipped art studio where artists of all disciplines can

practice art development cycle. Nukta studio is offering the artists/artisans a different time periods residency program. Fresh graduates and hidden talented people will get a platform to prove themselves whatever visual and performing art talent they have. Artist and artisans will live together to amalgamate their skills with each other and will create something perfectly with the combination of professional skills and creativity under guidance of senior working artists and artisans under one roof. And will get the facility to exhibit their art work. Fully equipped art studio/workshop
Workshop includes all electrical power tools and manual handy tools for framing canvases, sculpture armature building, metal works, and wood works etc. And produce any form of art start till end under one roof. Production House
A place to draw, design digitally and will record all workshops and evenings in video and pictorial form to generate tutorials which will be helpful for others who couldn’t attend the workshops or evenings personally. Upcoming Events (News section)
i. Talent hunt program
An event will be organized by Nukta team, which will find talented people in all directions of art and crafts. Those could be of any age, from any culture, any area of Pakistan. That talent could be of any form of art i.e. music, drama, theatre, digital media, short film makers, visual artists/artisans, players, writers, poets, speakers, readers etc. and then will polish those talented individuals to perform in front of world to show there hidden talent in professional way. Evenings
Nukta studio is planning to organize evenings with living legends like visual artists, performers, players, musicians, writers, scholars, scientists, historians, and business men etc who served in Pakistan. Nukta studio will arrange talks on their effort and worth full lives. Presentations on their achievements will also be shown. And will record those evenings in different mediums like video documentation. iii. Workshops
Nukta studio is organizing some workshops on different subjects by the professionals to teach other, such as:

• Cartooning
• Caricaturing
• Story boarding

iv. Productions
Nukta studio will record all those workshops and evenings in video and pictorial form to generate data base tutorials which will be designed for others who couldn’t attend the workshops or evenings personally but they will be able to learn and get some inspiration after through videos. All events will be published in our monthly journals/papers and will be shared on our website and social media pages. Mini home cinema
Nukta studio will organize gatherings to watch art movies, movies on artist’s lives, presentations on legends at Nukta mini home cinema. Also to view some theatre performances such as mimes, puppet shows, interviews and question answer sessions with legends. We will also organize “Mushairaas”. vi. Travel and camping
Nukta studio will organize road trips and tours on a caravan to explore the beauty of nature and purity of our culture all over the Pakistan.

Exhibition at Pakistan National Council of Arts, Islamabad, 2024. Nukta Studios, through its project Funkar- Talent Hunt Program, Art Competitions and Exhibitions, set up exhibition of artworks at the PNCA, Islamabad. These set up artworks are created by children and young people from across Pakistan. The Exhibition inaugurated by Mr. Abbas Shah Ji (Renowned Visual Artist, Sculptor, Writer & Art Educationist) along with Funkar Mentors R.M Naeem sb & Dr. Arjumand Faisal sb on Friday November 15, 2024.
The artworks were set up in collaboration with Pakistan National Council of Arts, Islamabad. And special thanks to Ercelawn Art Fund for great support.
Funkar is a unique platform that brings together visual and performing arts in a series of biannual competitions, providing an opportunity for children and youth in Pakistan to showcase their artistic talents. The program culminates in art exhibitions, workshops with esteemed artists, and the chance for participants to be recognized through art prizes and exposure in national art galleries.
