Please be informed that the free-for-all enlistment period officially begins today, May 19, and will remain accessible 24/7 until June 6, 2026 (Saturday). As an added note, Regular Enlistment (RE) for the Intersession of S.Y. 2026–2027 will take place from June 3 to 6. Students may settle their tuition fees and finalize their enlistment during the RE period.

Important Service Update:
Due to an expected power outage affecting the power grid in the Loyola Heights area, we regret to inform you that RL All Night services are cancelled for this evening, Thursday, May 14, 2026.
Please be advised that the Rizal Library will remain open until 7:30 PM, with access restricted to the ground floor only. We will also follow the Digital Day schedule tomorrow.
For safety reasons, the building will remain closed for the rest of the night. Please await further announcements regarding tomorrow’s schedule. Thank you for your cooperation.

Unang bahagi ng SINSIN-SINING: THE AILAP MASTER LECTURE SERIES

Bilang pagdiriwang ng Pambansang Buwan ng Panitikan, inilulunsad ng Ateneo Institute of Literary Arts and Practices (AILAP), katuwang ang Penguin Random House SEA, ang Sinsin-Sining: The AILAP Master Lecture Series. Sa una nitong iterasyon, magbibigay-panayam ang premyadong manunulat na si Ronaldo S. Vivo, Jr. sa paksang “PILIPINAS HARDBOILED: Anatomiya ng Krimen, Korapsyon, at Karakter sa Naratibong Pilipino.” Nakatakda itong ganapin sa 29 Abril, mula 5:30 NH hanggang 7:00 NG, sa NGF Conference Room, Pamantasang Ateneo de Manila.

Tuon ng panayam ang pagsusuri sa estetika ng madidilim at mararahas na naratibo sa mga kathang Pilipino na nakaugat sa mga sistemikong suliraning gaya ng krimen at korupsiyon. Itinatampok rito ang potensiyal ng pagkukuwento na makipagtalaban sa masasalimuot na ugnayan ng kapangyarihan, karahasan, at halagahan sa konteksto ng kontemporaneong karanasan sa bansa. Sa ganitong balangkas, tinatangka ng lektura na magbigay-espasyo upang muling idiskurso ang kritikal na gampanin ng panitikan sa gitna ng panahon ng patuloy na krisis panlipunan at pampolitika.

Makatatanggap ng sertipiko ng paglahok ang lahat ng magpaparehistro at makikilahok sa gawain. Maaari ding bumili at magpapirma ng mga aklat sa mismong araw ng gawain. Huwag sanang kalilimutang magdala ng ID upang mas madaling makapasok sa pamantasan sa mismong araw ng panayam.

TUNGKOL SA TAGAPANAYAM
Si Ronaldo Soledad Vivo, Jr. ang may-akda ng Dreamland Trilogy: Ang Kapangyarihang Higit sa Ating Lahat (2015/2019/2024), Ang Bangin sa Ilalim ng Ating mga Paa (2022), at Ang Suklam sa Ating Naaagnas na Balat (2024). Naging finalist ang kaniyang unang nobela sa Madrigal-Gonzales First Book Award. Tumanggap din siya ng mga parangal mula sa Gawad Bienvenido Lumbera, Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature, at National Book Award for Best Book of Short Fiction in Filipino.

Siya ang tagapagtatag ng UngazPress at Dreamland Books, kolektibo ng mga manunulat buhat sa Pateros na nakatuon sa pagkukuwento at pagtatagpo ng alternatibong pagsulat, pagbalikwas, at neo-noir. Bilang musikero, pinatatakbo niya ang Sound Carpentry Recording, na naglalabas ng mga tugtugin sa anyo ng cassette, CD, at vinyl para sa pandaigdigang distribusyon. Siya rin ang drummer ng mga bandang Basalt Shrine, Abanglupa, The Isektlife Cycle, at Dagtum.

TUNGKOL SA AILAP
Itinatag ang AILAP bilang tagapangalaga ng iba’t ibang gawaing pampanitikan at pansining sa loob at labas ng Pamantasang Ateneo de Manila. Nais makapag-ambag ng AILAP sa higit pang ikauunlad ng panitikan sa bansa sa pamamagitan ng pagbuo ng samahan ng mga manunulat at mga alagad ng sining. Isinasakatuparan nito ang ganitong adhikain sa pamamagitan ng paglulunsad ng Ateneo National Writers Workshop (ANWW) at iba pang mga kultural na gawain tulad nito.
