We are delighted to share that Christian Nwachukwu, an MSc Entrepreneurship graduate from Aston Business School, has been highly commended for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2026, presented by AMBA & BGA.

This award recognises outstanding alumni and student entrepreneurs, while also celebrating business schools that actively nurture enterprise, ambition and real-world impact.

Christian is the founder of 10mg Health, an innovative AI-powered platform that provides quick, collateral-free loans to healthcare providers in emerging markets. His solution addresses major barriers such as high interest rates and lengthy approval processes, enabling healthcare providers to deliver better care to patients across Africa.

Congratulations to Christian on this fantastic accomplishment 👏

🔧 Notice: Temporary repair work

We’re currently carrying out some unexpected repair work in the atrium of John Cadbury House. Alumni are still very welcome to come in and work in the Alumni Club, but please be aware there may be some noise and disruption while the work is underway.

Depending on the scope of the repairs, there’s a chance we may need to close temporarily. We’ll share updates here as soon as we know more.

We expect the work to continue until around 5 November, and we appreciate your patience and understanding while we get everything back to normal.

Thank you for bearing with us!

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news of the loss of Gaurav Brahmbhatt, Vice-President of our Indian Alumni Chapter, and his wife Kalyani, who tragically died in the recent Air India incident.

Gaurav was far more than a distinguished alumnus – he was the beating heart of our global community in India. Since completing his MBA with us in 2011, he remained deeply woven into the fabric of our university family, serving on the Aston Business School International Advisory Board, mentoring students, and supporting new graduates. His generosity knew no bounds.

As Vice-President at Health Care at Home India, Gaurav revolutionised healthcare delivery across the country. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he and his team provided critical support to vulnerable patients, work that earned him an Honorary Doctor of Science award from Aston University in 2022. Just last year, he received the British Council Study UK Award for Social Action.

We haven’t just lost a valued alumnus – we’ve lost a cherished friend and an irreplaceable member of our global family. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. Please share your memories on Gaurav’s tribute page: https://gauravbrahmbhatt.muchloved.com/
