Recently, our CHC53315 Diploma of Mental Health students got to sit down with the incredible team from Bikers Against Child Abuse International.
BACA support children who've experienced abuse, helping them feel safe, supported, and empowered. For our students, hearing directly from the team connected to everything they've been learning in real, practical ways:
- What trauma-informed care actually looks like in the real world
- How different services and organisations work together to support people
- How to build trust with clients who've experienced trauma
- How to set boundaries while still respecting every client's individual needs
At Stirling Institute of Australia, our students go beyond textbooks and theory... they have direct access to people doing vital work in the mental health space.
If you've ever thought about a career in mental health support, this is what it could look like for you. With us, you'll graduate with the skills, confidence, and industry connections to walk into the workforce ready to make a genuine impact.
A massive thank you to the BACA team for sharing your time and passion with our students — you've inspired the next generation of mental health workers!
