Nuestra Graduation at UCI Nuestra Graduación formerly known as Raza Graduacion began in 1978 as a small and intimate backyard event to celebrate graduating Latinx students.

Currently we host a ceremony for 300+ students at the Bren. Every year a group of students get together to plan what is known as the annual Raza Graduation ceremony. Raza Graduation is a more intimate, festive, and culturally inclusive graduation ceremony for Chican@/Latin@ students. Everything is spoken in both English and Spanish and students are given the opportunity to say a few words to thank

those who have helped them reach their accomplishments. It is a celebration that seeks to highlight the achievements in higher education of the Latino community at UCI.

Each student will be able to take two headshots and be able to chose which one they would like to be included in the Nuestra Grad ceremony. Students will also receive digital copies of each headshot.
