SSU offers generous scholarships and performance opportunities in instrumental, choral, jazz, and music theatre. Close to San Francisco and the Pacific Ocean, SSU’s NASM-accredited music program is housed in the 105,435-square-foot Green Music Center.

If you’ve ever wondered if kelp could be turned into a musical instrument, wonder no longer! 🎺

Come see the Brass Ensemble: Full Fathom Five
Featuring music related to a poem from Shakespeare’s Tempest. It will include music from five different centuries, and we will be featuring two world premieres - compositions by Director, Dan Norris and SSU student, Charlie Whitaker.

Instruments such as Conches, Kelp Horns, and a didgeridoo will be played, so you don’t want to miss this!
