Ravi, a 15 years old boy leaves behind his village life in Uttar Pradesh to live with his family, rebuilding their lives in Outer Dilli. Is it just migration to another land or another life?

Raag Darbari,a hindi novel written by Shrilal Shukla, published in 1968 still stands as a blueprint for the current system.

Shivpalganj is a quick sand engulfing the people,voices & ideologies.
Factionalism , wheeling and dealing and corruption take centre stage.
Confronted with such chaos, Rangnath finds his textbook learning irrelevant.

Every once in a while, a little burst of magic is required to beat the mundane of daily life. Now, magic might be unreal, but there are people who are no less magical, for the words and rhythms they delectate with, are indubitably surreal.

Thereby we, at MERAKI- The English​ Literary Society of SGGSCC, seek to establish a platform inviting such amusing souls to come and sweep us off the floor with their poetry, prose and music, and be a part of our first Open Mic event for this session- 'LIGHTS, CAMERA, WORDS!'
