Master of Science in International Management- HKUST MIMT

The HKUST MIMT is a one-year full-time pre-experience postgraduate degree program.

The HKUST MIMT, is offered by the HKUST Business School in collaboration with CEMS, the global alliance in management education and the world league in the pre-experience Master's market. It is tailor-made for fresh graduates or those with no more than two years of full-time post-qualification work experience who possess multi-cultural aptitudes and aim to take up international leadership positions in their career.

Earlier this month, we had the privilege of hosting 4 distinguished guest speakers from BVLGARI to provide our students with invaluable insights into brand management, marketing strategy, and luxury industry best practices in the Asia Pacific. ✨

We were honored to have Ms. Joe Sun, Managing Director of Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, together with her colleagues, share their extensive expertise in branding and marketing. They also introduced participants to BVLGARI's exceptional craftsmanship and innovative approach, illuminating the sophisticated world of luxury brand management and demonstrating BVLGARI's unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What a memorable day celebrating our graduates at the 33rd HKUST Congregation on November 23rd. It was a joy to see our students mark the end of their academic journey and the beginning of a new chapter!

🎓 From Classroom to Culture: A Semester in Hong Kong 🇭🇰

Meet Maria Pineda, a CEMS student from NOVA, who spent last semester at HKUST through the MIMT program.

During her time at HKUST, Maria worked on a CEMS Business Project with the Hong Kong Tourism Board – a collaboration that not only deepened her understanding of Asia’s dynamic business environment but also led to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: meeting the Chief Executive of the HKSAR.

Beyond academics, Maria immersed herself in Hong Kong’s vibrant culture – from sunset hikes 🌄 and boat rides ⛵across Victoria Harbour to exploring the heritage village of Tai O 🎣with classmates from all over the world.

💖A heartfelt thank you to China CITIC Bank International ( ) for the partnership and providing a platform for selected HKUST MIMT CEMS students to take part in a consulting project in a real-world banking setting. It was a pleasure working hand in hand with CNCBI, crafting solutions and sharing moments of growth and learning. 🌟

Thrilled to share that our dynamic team of HKUST MIMT CEMS students, Emili LICHT, Henrik BJØRKEDAL, Kristína ONDROVÁ, Fangxi SHI, and Maximilian WALTER collaborated on a project with CNCBI earlier this year! 🚀

The project aimed at familiarising the students with fraud risk and cybercrime prevention as well as evaluating the effectiveness of customer-related vulnerabilities identification methodologies and fraud prevention strategies. 💼💻 Their journey has been nothing short of enlightening, from conducting industry benchmarking and sharing global best practice to exploring AI applications in banking industry and exploring ideas with CNCBI. 📈✨
