Shri Atmanand Jain Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT), Ambala City (Haryana) organized a “Campus Placement Drive 2024 on 27th April, 2024 (Saturday). Campus recruitment is a strategy for sourcing, engaging, and hiring young talent for internship and full-time job roles.

The Training and placement committee of AIMT Mr. Pardeep Mehta(TP Coordinator), Mr. Sunil Sharma (TP Member) and Ms. Monika Mehta (TP Member) of Management Department along with Dr. Prableen Kaur (TP Coordinator), Ms. Bhumika Mehta(TP Member) and Ms. Aarti Dhiman (TP Member) of Computer Department has managed to attract some premium companies that have offered CTC of INR 3-4+ lakhs and above. Empaneled Times of India (TOI), Star Daichi Insurance, Matrid Technologies, Dollar ERP and Altruist Technologies Pvt. Ltd. AIMT has welcomed all the company dignitaries with traditional rituals. The placement drive was started at 9:30am.

Dr. Cheshta Kashyap (Director, AIMT) informed all undergraduate (UG) and post graduate (PG) students of AIMT City participated in the Ist-round of the selection process.In the Placement drive students of all streams i.e. BCA, BBA, MBA and MCA took part in the process. There was no Registration / Participation fee.

A Farewell party was organized by the management department at Shri Atmanand Jain Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT) on 26th April, 2024, the Friday where faculty and Junior batch of BBA/MBA whole hardheartedly bid farewell to their senior counterparts of last year.
All the Faculty members of Computers and Management Departments were also present in the ceremony. The farewell party is much awaited affair for seniors as well as juniors. This ceremony began with the traditional Tilak ritual for seniors where Director Dr. Cheshta Kashyap was also present.
The ceremony saw many dazzling performances by both seniors and juniors alike from energetic dance numbers, melodious songs of today and past era and other cultural activities that made party more charming. Students performed on various songs. There were Modeling rounds, where seniors suppressed their feelings and introduced themselves. They answered judges’s questions. The award of Mr. & Ms. AIMT in BBA went to Mr. Harman & Ms. Sejal and in MBA went to Mr. A***n and Ms. Aditi Chawla On the other hand the award of Mr. & Ms. Personality in BBA went to Mr. Srijin & Ms. Nikita and in MBA went to Mr. Ajay & Ms Heena.
Director, Dr. Cheshta Kashyap encouraged the students to work hard. She congratulated the winners and blessed them for their bright future. At the end Mrs. Tarun Sahni (HOD, Management Department) said “When one chapter of life gets over, the other starts; so does your journey! You all are certified graduates and past graduates now and the next chapter of your life will bring another set of challenges and perks in the next stage of your lives, All the best!”. She also congratulated the organizing students for their wonderful efforts.

On April 21, 2024, the Bhagwan Mahavir Janm Kalyanak Mahotsav Committee Ambala city organized a celebration of the 2623rd Janm Kalyanak. The Guest of Honor was Honorable Minister Sh. Aseem Goel, MLA, Ambala City.

This was the first time ever that AIMT participated and presented a fabulous performance in the honour of Bhagwan Mahavir, students were Himanshi & Devanshi (BBA 4th sem), Komal Verma, Noorpreet Kaur & Damanpreet (BCA 2ND sem).
The Worthy Members of the Management Committee were: President Hitesh Jain, General Secretary Kishor Jain, Vice-Secretary Abhay Jain and Treasurer Devinder Jain. AIMT students received and appreciated by trophies and certificates. Dr. Cheshta Kashyap, Director of AIMT, urged the students to put in a lot of efforts. Dr. Cheshta Kashyap and esteemed members of the management team thanked the awardees and offered them blessings for a prosperous future.

Shri Atmanand Jain Institute of Management and Technology (AIMT) has organized on the occasion of 188th Birthday of Jain Acharya Shrimad Vijayanand Surishwar Ji Mharaj Sahib an “Inter College Business Plan Competition” under MoE’s Innovation Cell - YUKTI (IIC 6.0).

Dr. Cheshta Kashyap (Director AIMT), Dr. Shilpa Khanna (IIC, President) and HOD’s of both Departments traditionally welcomed the Guest of honor and Judge of the event Dr. Shagun Ahuja and Ms. Shweta Garg (Asst. Prof. Commerce Dept.) of Govt. (PG) College , Ambala Cantt.

Students from AIMT and neighboring colleges was Galaxy Global College and Dev Samaj College took part in this competition as well. They used PowerPoint presentations to showcase their business ideas and plans.
The results of the event are as under.
1. First Position -Varinder Jeet and Afreen (AIMT BBA 2ND Sem) Business Plan- Smart Blind Stick.
2. Second Position- Anshika (Dev Samaj College) Business Plan-Clean Crunch).
3. Third Position- Vansh (AIMT BCA 2ND Sem) Business Plan- Animal Med).
All the winners were honored by Cash Prizes, medals and certificates was distributed to all participants.
