Job Title: HMIS Sales Executive (ProMed HMIS)

We are a growing HealthTech company (ProMed) providing comprehensive Hospital Management Information Systems (HMIS) to hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers and specialty practices across Kenya and East Africa. Our platform streamlines patient management, billing, evaluation/consultation, pharmacy management, lab integration, in-patient management, insurance claims and regulatory reporting.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Tech Sales Professional to drive adoption of our HMIS platform in hospital facilities. The ideal candidate understands enterprise software sales, consultative selling and how to navigate the healthcare decision-making environment (administrators, medical directors, IT teams, finance heads).
Software sales market is competitive and performance-driven, we are seeking someone who thrives in a target-based environment and understands B2B solution selling.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and prospect hospitals, clinics and healthcare groups for HMIS adoption.
• Conduct product demos and presentations to hospital administrators and management teams.
• Manage the full B2B sales cycle (lead generation → proposal → negotiation → closure).
• Develop relationships with healthcare decision-makers and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams for onboarding and solution customization.
• Maintain accurate pipeline tracking using CRM tools.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Health Informatics or related field.
Experience
• 3–5+ years in technology sales, SaaS sales or enterprise software sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling B2B software systems in Kenya (healthcare sector experience is a strong advantage).
Technical & Market Skills
• Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud-based systems and software implementation models.
• Ability to explain technical solutions in simple, business-focused terms.
• Familiarity with Kenya’s healthcare ecosystem (SHIF processes, private hospitals, county facilities) is an advantage.
• Experience working in Nairobi’s competitive sales environment with performance-based compensation structures.
Soft Skills
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Strong presentation and communication ability.
• High resilience and ability to manage long sales cycles.
• Self-driven, proactive and target-oriented.
Preferred (Added Advantage)
• Experience selling health-tech, ERP systems or financial software.
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems.
• Existing network within private hospitals or medical networks.
