Congratulations Khris!!!

Khristopher Smalling’s studies on Black American music styles and experimentation with Hindustani music on the sitar have enriched his compositions. Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of sources including Berlin techno, EU dance music, video game music, film scores, and more, he continuously integrates elements from various cultural genres into his work, resulting in a dynamic and eclectic sound palette.

Hi everyone! My recital is this Friday at 7:30 in the Organ Hall and I’d love to see you all there. Cutter Burnett, Suzanne P***k, and I will be performing Benjamin Britten’s Canticle III: ‘Still Falls the Rain.’ Additionally, I will be playing a handful of other really great pieces by Joseph (but probably Michael) Haydn, Paul Hindemith, and Vincent Persichetti.
