Pitch Contest Presenter Guidelines
The first 30 individuals to register will be eligible to compete
Presentations will be limited to:
1 ½ Minute Pitch
2 Minute Question & Answer
Round 1: Questions limited to two questions per judge and a max. of 2 minutes
Round 3: Questioning is open to the panel of judges and the audience
1 Minute Allowance

for Transition
PowerPoint presentations and appropriate tangible visual aids may be used in presentations. PowerPoints must be sent to [email protected] by 12:00pm (noon) on Thursday, March 6th. The organizers of the contest will have your PowerPoint ready for presentation. Being able to provide your own presentation (via jump drive, email access, etc) is highly suggested. Competitors will be evaluated in the following categories during the 1st and 2nd Rounds:

*Also note that presentations will be cut off at the 1 ½ minute limit
The 30 competitors will be randomly assigned to present in three different rooms simultaneously during the 1st Round. Room 221: 10 competitors
Room 235: 10 competitors
Room 242: 10 competitors
Advancement
The “Top 10” scoring competitors will move on to Round 2 of the competition
Additionally, a minimum of two competitors from each room in Round 1 are required to move on to Round 2. Furthermore, two alternates will be announced and may present if any of the Round 2 participants do not compete in Round 2. Therefore, the minimum number of competitors competing in Round 2 is 10 competitors. Therefore, the maximum number of competitors competing in Round 2 is 14 competitors. Competitor’s scores in Round 3 will be based solely/completely on audience scores. Prizes

1st Place - $1000
2nd Place - $200
3rd Place - $50
