Last week’s QUAD event hosted by the NYC Chapter of the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists, was a great evening of networking, collaboration, and learning with colleagues from across chapters.

Thank you to our keynote speaker, Dr. Diep, for an engaging presentation on AI in hospital pharmacy, and to our exhibitors for their support. A special thank you to our Industry Relations Committee for organizing such a successful event!

We appreciate everyone who joined us and helped make the night a success!

Last week, we were honored to host an engaging ASHP Federal Policy & Advocacy Update featuring Dr. Kyle Robb, PharmD. He shared timely insights on the evolving federal policy landscape and what it means for health-system pharmacists and patient care.

Industry Relations Event Recap

NYCSHP recently hosted its Industry Relations Exhibit, bringing together pharmacy professionals, industry partners, and key stakeholders for an engaging evening of learning, networking, and collaboration.

The event featured an informative presentation by Christopher Jerry, focused on medication errors & implementing strategies to improve policies & workflows while reducing the risk for errors.

This event would not have been possible without the dedication of our Industry Relations Committee Co-Chairs: Alice Wang, Brian Lerner, Alper Ozdemir, & Isabella Dai, under the leadership of our Director-at-Large, Jaclyn Hess, whose thoughtful planning and coordination ensured a seamless and successful experience for all involved.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our industry partners and sponsors for their continued support, as well as to our New York State Council leaders for joining us and helping make this event a success.

Our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee Co-chairs, Deborah and Carline, collected over 100 books as part of the 14th Annual Literacy Across Harlem Holiday Book Drive! 📚 Special thanks to all of the partners involved in this event with over 1470 books collected in total! 🎉
