[Design competition 2021] - English version
Could you remember a certain day of the year? Could you remember the scenery at that moment? When you revisit the old place, somehow some scenes and objects are disappeared and they can only keep in your own mind. Creativity Lab has organized a design competition with the theme of “ The Old Day”, everyone is eligible to design “ The Old Day” in the mind.
Submission requirement
Recall your memories, you may discover some of the sceneries or objects are disappeared. In 70s and 90s, there are wide variety of characteristic games, food and architectures in Hong Kong, for instance Chinese chess, Sucrose and so on. It is hoped that all the participants can meet the theme “ The Old Day”by making use of the elements, such as meaningful and memorable experiences, toys, architectures or clothing as your design. Comment on your artwork on how it means to you.

Resolution: 150pdi
Specification: PNG/JPG Format
Competition Period
5 May 2021 to 17 June 2021
Prizes
Champion: Wacom Canvas (Value around $1665) and Certificate
1strunner-up: Chameleon 22 pens markers (Value around $774) and Certificate
2nd runner-up: $500 Shopping coupons for Art supplies and Certificate
** All the participants will receive the participant certificate.

Content matches the theme 40%
Distinctness and creativity 30%
Overall composition and technique 20%
Printing and feasibility 10%
Terms and conditions
Every participant should enter the contest as individuals. Each participant should only submit one application.
Each participant should submit the artwork and the 50-100 words descriptions via email us at [email protected]
The file name should be the full name of the participant (eg. ChanTaMen)
Each participant should meet the theme of the contest and name it by yourself or use 「懷舊_ _」 (_ _should be designed by yourself)
The participants are advised to retain a duplicate copy of their submissions for further reference.
All the submission will be possibly used in printing on cloth for the purse bag workshop.
An entry should not contain any material that is obscene, violent, pornographic, defamatory, indecent, disparaging or content that is controversial and inappropriate.
Winners will be informed in July
Creativity Lab will keep the final decision on rules, results and awards. In terms of selecting winners, the decision of the Judging Panel is final. If artwork does not meet the standards, the certain award may be missing.
All submitted artwork should be in high quality for the use in the college.
