The Kavery Engineering College was established in the year 2006 by a trust of philanthropists with a view of disseminating technical and scientific knowledge to the students of rural areas. Hence it has sprung up in a hamlet named Mecheri in Salem district. The institution was established in th

e year 2006 with the approval of the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University. This Institution offers 6 Under graduate courses in Engineering & Technology, Two PostGraduate Course MCA & MBA. The first batch of students have come out successfully during may 2010.
