WSU senior Jeffrey Blessant took his first-ever trip abroad this January, exploring the heart of Italy with support from the Garvey family.
Surrounded by gelato shops, cafés and historic beauty, he found something unexpected — the realization that even in a culture so different, there’s a shared human connection that makes the world feel smaller.
As a psychology and creative writing major, this experience gave him a new lens to view human behavior, storytelling and the ways people across cultures find meaning in everyday life.
Today’s the day! 🎬🌾 Wichita State is the first college in Kansas to be featured on The College Tour, and our episode is now LIVE! Watch the stories that make our university one of a kind ➡️ wichita.edu/thecollegetour #ShockersUp #TheCollegeTour
