History
In 1950 the Technical Institute in Al mualla, Aden was established for the preparation of technicians and craftsmen who meet the need of the colonial administration in the south of the country before independence and after independence. In 1974 Creating the Technical Institute of Higher (system three years after high school) with the assistance of UNESCO. In 1975 the University of Aden was
established, where the institute became a part of the faculties of the university, its mission was graduated assistant engineers in the fields of mechanical, electrical and civil engineering, as well as in the field of telecommunications, refrigeration and automotive engineering. In 1978 Opening of the College of Technology in November join the faculties of Aden University
In 1980 the first batch of the college was graduated in the areas of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
In 1981 the first batch was graduated in Civil Engineering. In 1998 Establishing two new sections, namely the Department of Architecture and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. In 1999 Establishing the Department of Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering. In 2001 Establishing the Department of Information Technology.
