🌿Advancing Community Empowerment Through Skills and Entrepreneurship Development🌿

In partnership with Motheo TVET College and Kreishandwerkerschaft Steinfurt Warendorf, last week a selected group of 10 community members from Thaba Nchu, led by the local councillor, participated in our reusable sanitary pads skills training at Motheo TVET College - Thaba Nchu Campus.

The training was facilitated by Onkarabetse Mokhobo, our N6 student and trainer, who led the group with dedication and excellence. 👏

Building on this, the project continues with a 2-day entrepreneurship training, aimed at equipping participants to turn their newly acquired skills into sustainable income-generating opportunities and small business initiatives.

This is true community-driven empowerment — creating skills, opportunity, and long-term impact. 💚

Last night CUT FM 105.8 hosted us to discuss an important and very current topic: women looking for alternative menstrual products. 🎙️

Our reusable 100% cotton menstruation pads, produced by students of Motheo TVET College offer a healthy, sustainable option.

A special thank you Onkarabetse Mokhobo, who did a great job informing listeners about the pads and the work behind them.

Proud to see students raising awareness and creating solutions for women and girls. 🌸♻️

🇩🇪 This journey started when Ilona, a German self-entrepreneur, travelled twice to South Africa to train students on how to produce reusable menstrual pads and share her knowledge.

🌱 Today we are proud that through our partnership program we are making this possible – empowering local women, creating sustainable products, and supporting dignity for girls and women. 💗
